CHANDLER FAMILY ASSOCIATES
Chandler parents are one of the School’s greatest assets. Their energy, enthusiasm and contributions to the life of the School are an integral part of what makes Chandler a special place.
In 1975, the Chandler Family Associates, or C.F.A., was founded for the purpose of coordinating volunteers, increasing communication between school families and raising funds for specific school needs.
Annually, C.F.A. Board members are nominated to represent the membership of over 320 families. The C.F.A. Board works directly under the authorization and supervision of the Head of School and the Chandler Board of Trustees.
C.F.A. provides services to the school by hosting and organizing events and generating funds through various activities each year. These include Parents’ Nights, Shamrock Shoppe, Book Fair, Art Docent Program, Student Lunch Sales, Sports-A-Thon, Scrip Sales and the Chandler Family Fair.
C.F.A. is a structured group without a formal set of by-laws or regulations. The organization, with a set of defined job descriptions, has evolved to handle school needs as they arise. No membership dues have ever been required as the organization continues to function by virtue of caring and interested volunteer help.
