The
Annual Chandler School Sports-A-Thon for Grades K - 5 is on
Thursday, March 5.
The scheduled times for the athletic events are:
4th-5th Grades: 10:45-11:30
Kindergarten: 11:30 - 12:00
1st-2nd Grades: 12:45- 1:45
3rd Grade: 1:45-2:15
The IN-N-OUT truck will serve lunch from 11 a.m. -1 p.m.! All Chandler students receive a free lunch and spectators can purchase a lunch for $5 on a first-come, first-served basis. The meal includes: a hamburger or cheeseburger (choice of plain or "with everything"), chips, fruit & POWERade. Plus, the Shamrock Shoppe will be open, selling Dippin' Dots for $4.
Donations to the P.E. Department are used to replace aging athletic equipment. Download the Donation Form. Please drop-off in LS or MS Offices, give to Bill Andersen, or bring to the Donation Table at the Sports-A-Thon! A $20 donation buys wiffle and squish balls, a $30 donation buys Lacrosse Sticks, $50 buys a track hurdle or 2 basketballs, $100 buys a unicycle and $125 buys a new skateboard! Lower School students participate in Sports-A-Thon but ALL Chandler students benefit from funds raised at this event.
Also, the Chandler Invitational Track Meet for the Middle School is scheduled for Friday, March 6, from 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. All School dismissal at noon.
Sports-A-Thon T-Shirts can be worn in P.E. by Lower and Middle Schoolers. Purchase one today! Free Dress on day of Sports-A-Thon for Lower School!
Please park wisely on Armada Drive and avoid Prospect Blvd. Bridge, neighbors' driveways, and fire hydrants. Parking will be strictly enforced by the Pasadena Police Department.
Come, enjoy, and take photos! Mr. Anderson will have his computer in his office to upload photos taken at Sports-A-Thon! Please come by that day to share your photos of our athletes at Sports-A-Thon!
