LIBRARY
Welcome to the Lower School Library.
Beginning in kindergarten lower school students visit the library once
a week. All children in the lower school may check out books to read at
home. The Chandler lower school library is a warm and inviting place
for children to hear stories read aloud, as well as to develop skills
on how to choose appropriate literature for one's reading level. As they grow and mature,
children receive instruction in how to use the library and guidance in basic research techniques.
Students are invited to use the library during lunch and recess as well. The library is well
equipped with computer terminals for searching the Internet and using CDRom resources, as well.
