PARENT-TEACHER COMMUNICATION
Communicating student progress to parents is a high priority to us. Parent teacher conferences are scheduled for the fall and spring. Written reports are sent home at least three times during the year. The progress reports for students in kindergarten through third grade include teacher comments on each child’s academic progress and effort. Beginning in grade four, teachers comment on each student’s academic progress and give corresponding letter grades. Students also receive evaluations about their citizenship and effort. Both parents and faculty are encouraged to communicate with each other any time there is a need.
