Chandler Art Teacher's Work on Display During Exhibition
Some of Chandler School Art Department Chair Julie Zemel’s very own art was on display at the Pierce College Art Gallery on Thursday March 5 as part of the “LA Woman: On Her Own Terms & Haunted” exhibition.
Some of Chandler School Art Department Chair Julie Zemel’s very own art was on display at the Pierce College Art Gallery on Thursday March 5 as part of the “LA Woman: On Her Own Terms & Haunted” exhibition.
For this exhibition works were selected that both reflect an arguably feminine quality and also take into consideration some aspect of the culture of the City of Los Angeles.
Ms. Zemel’s piece was a project from 2013 designed in Photoshop that imagines an interactive educational computer game that takes on urban space planning in Los Angeles.
Congratulations to Ms. Zemel on this recognition of her work. Chandler students are very lucky to learn from her everyday.
