Fifth Graders Enjoy Catalina Voyage
Last week Chandler School fifth graders took part in a two-night, three-day journey to Catalina Island.
Last week Chandler School fifth graders took part in a two-night, three-day journey to Catalina Island.

As part of the trip they went kayaking, snorkeling, hiking, participated in science labs, learned how composting works in a garden, amongst other hands-on activities. The group also learned about the history of Catalina Island and even took part in a night sky activity in which they learned about the different constellations.
