ABOUT CHANDLER SCHOOL
You're invited to spend a simply spectacular summer at Chandler School.
Chandler School is an independent Kindergarten through Eighth Grade school within the Pasadena community and is a leader in innovative academic, arts, and enrichment curricula. Summer at Chandler offers you the opportunity to experience a full variety of courses as distinctive as the school’s regular year programs. In addition, an onsite summer day camp offers a less structured, but fun and enjoyable way to pass the lazy summer days. Students are challenged to develop skills, to enjoy learning, and to grow in areas of special interest while experiencing their Summer@Chandler. All Summer at Chandler programs are open to the public.
Chandler School is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, the California Association of Independent Schools, and is a member of the following organizations: National Association of Independent Schools and Independent School Alliance for Minority Affairs.
Chandler School admits students of any race, color, religion, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded to or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national and ethnic origin in administration of its school-administered programs.
The mission of Chandler School is to provide each student with the highest quality and most academically challenging education in a nurturing, balanced, and diverse environment. We strive to have our students gain a love of learning, a means of thinking independently, and an ability to work collaboratively. A Chandler education seeks to develop good character, self-reliance, and a commitment to community in students as a foundation for academic and personal success.
