8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Extended Care: 3:00 - 6:00 PM

FACILITIES

The school campus is nestled within a cozy, quaint enclosed facility, surrounded by rolling hills and tall green trees that overlook one of our city landmarks, the Rose Bowl. The summer camp activities take place both on and off site. We have plenty of space to create the best experience for our campers with our huge grass-covered playing field, our well-maintained basketball courts, the use of our full-size gymnasium, and two playgrounds. Summer fun also takes place in our air-conditioned classrooms and multi-purpose rooms.

CAMP ACTIVITIES

Each day children have the option to participate in weekly themed activities along with many camp favorites. Our activities provide social interaction in a safe and caring, non-competitive environment. We also introduce campers to health, fitness, and basic sports skills. Campers are divided into four age groups: Kindergarten - 1st, 2nd - 3rd and 4th - 6th graders. Camp activities include:

  • Cooperative Games
  • Dance
  • DDR
  • Fort Building
  • Game Room
  • Karaoke
  • Music
  • Swimming
  • Team Sports

FIELD TRIPS & FUN FRIDAYS

  • Field trips are held Tuesdays and Fridays.
  • Tuesdays half day local field trips are offered in the mornings or after lunch.
  • Full-day campers may attend either morning or afternoon Tuesday trips. Half-day campers may only attend afternoon Tuesday trips after their classes are over. Tuesday half day trips are optional.
  • All campers must attend field trips on Fridays. No one is left behind on campus.
  • Campers must wear their Summer@Chandler T-shirt.
  • Children must bring a lunch in a disposable bag.
  • A school bus or Chandler vehicle is used to transport campers.

CAMP STAFF

Our staff realizes the role that they play in shaping a camper’s experience and the trust and responsibility this entails. Their enthusiasm, professionalism and understanding help provide a safe environment that enhances a child’s creative skills, imagination, physical abilities, and most importantly, allows everyone to have fun. We take great pride in our staff because they make the spirit of Chandler Camp come to life. Our staff is carefully selected for their creativity, maturity, and commitment.
