ENRICHMENT
The Summer@Chandler enrichment program has been designed
to enrich your child’s summer by providing five weeks of stimulating, fun
and enjoyable experiences for a variety of ages in a safe and supportive
environment. our excellent staff and faculty have the caring, expertise,
enthusiasm, and professionalism to ensure that your child has a wonderful
summer. you may decide to sign up for several classes each day, or you may
find that you prefer to sign up for only one or two daily classes and fill the rest
of your time with our Camp activities and hikes. The Summer@Chandler
offerings have been designed to enable you to blend activities from all of
our programs to help you create a complete summer adventure that fits your
individual preferences and schedule.
REGISTRATION

The balance of tuition and materials fees is due by June 1, 2008. Students whose full tuition
and fees have not been received by that date will be considered withdrawn unless special
arrangements have been made with the Summer@Chandler administration.
- Students’ class selections must be consecutive; there may be no “gaps” between
classes.
- No class changes will be allowed after the first week of Enrichment classes.
Students are required to enter a second choice alternative on the registration form for all
classes.
- Students who register for a class that is already filled will be placed in the class of their second
choice (if that option is available) and/or will be placed on a wait list for their first choice
class.
- All class change requests must be initiated with a Change Request Form (available in the
front office or on-line). No changes may be made after Thursday, June 26. All class change
requests are considered on an individual basis and may only be made with the approval of
the Enrichment director.
TUITION & FEES

$240/class (unless otherwise indicated in class description)

~ CIT : Counselor in Training (T, Th, FF): $180
~ Late Afternoon Hikes: $35/hike

- Materials fees may be charged for some classes to cover the costs of special supplies. If a
class has a materials fee, it will be listed with the class description and/or on the registration
form. Materials fees will not be refunded if a class change is initiated after June 1, 2008.

A late fee may be charged for enrollments received after June 1, 2008 to cover expedited
shipping and handling costs for ordering required materials if they are needed for classes in
which the student is enrolling. The teacher will determine the amount needed to pay for any
additional expenses incurred.

There is no prorating for missed days during the course of the program (i.e., family vacations,
other summer programs, etc.)
REFUNDS

The $25 registration fee is non-refundable.
- Remaining tuition payments may be refunded if a class is canceled
due to insufficient enrollment and no class can be substituted in its
place.

Materials fees refunds will be given when a class is dropped if the
drop request is received in writing by June 1, 2008; after that date,
there will be no refund of materials fees.

No refunds will be given for missed days.

CANCELLATION OF UNDER-ENROLLED CLASSES
Chandler reserves the right to cancel classes that do not meet a
minimum attendance set by the teacher and director. Affected students
may choose an alternate course or obtain a refund of their full tuition
payment, less the $25 registration fee, for the cancelled class, provided
the cancelled class does not create a “gap” in the student’s Enrichment
class schedule.
EXTENDED CARE AND FUN FRIDAYS

Enrollment in the Camp is available for Enrichment participants as
a half-day option Monday through Thursday or for the full day on
Fun Fridays to attend an off-site field trip.

Daily extended care is also available through the summer Camp.

SNACKS
It is recommended that children bring a nutritious mid-morning snack.
