South Campus Campaign

The Commitment to Excellence: South Campus Campaign concluded in 2016, with nearly 500 donors contributing $17 million to build our south campus. We are grateful to the parents, alumni and friends who supported this bold vision. Thanks to you, we:

    Created space to give every Middle School teacher their own classroom, where they can create the best environment for students.

    Transformed teaching options by expanding room size and embedding technology in all of South Campus, to allow for collaboration, STEAM projects and presentations.

    Equipped science teachers with labs and equipment that rivals many colleges, allowing students to do hands-on work.

    Sparked creativity in new, purpose-built Lower School and Middle School art rooms and music room.

    Turned the spotlight on students, by building The Ahmanson Foundation Performing Arts Center to host singing, dancing and acting productions.

    Unleashed students’ imaginations by designing the Johnson Library and Media Center as a flexible space for research, projects and presentations.

    Energized students with a modern gymnasium and Evensen Family Outdoor Court for better P.E. and Middle School sports, plus lunchtime fun.

    Built community hubs with the Middle School courtyard and Rothenberg Family Courtyard for conversations, celebrations and receptions.

    Made a statement with the South Campus Entrance and Tower, which reflects Chandler’s significant presence as a community pillar in Pasadena.
