Chandler Welcomes 83 New Students

Chandler welcomed 83 new students to school this week. See the video.
That includes 43 new kindergarteners, 11 new students in grades 1-5, and 29 new Middle School students. Among our new students, 14 are siblings of current Chandler students, and 6 have a parent who attended Chandler School. Families choose Chandler for its commitment to academic excellence and rigor, high standards for character and citizenship, and its exceptionally talented and caring faculty.

Our new families reside in 23 different zip codes throughout Los Angeles County. Chandler enrolled boys and girls from 28 preschools, 7 public schools, and 9 independent schools.

Our new students, young as they are, already have developed many talents and valuable experiences, including a cricket player, a hip hop dancer, a classical Indian dancer, a horseback rider, a canoeing aficionado, and a student with international schooling, having lived in Mumbai for three years.

Typically, Chandler receives an average of four student applications per available admissions spot, and this year reflected the same impressive demand.

We are delighted to welcome our new students and families to Chandler School.
