Sixth Grade Investigates Geological Processes in Earth Science

Sixth grade science teacher J.J. Newman uses hands-on investigations to teach her students earth science. See the short video.
Students recently undertook a weathering-erosion-deposition station rotation investigation. They explored major geological processes by imitating natural forces (using items like sand, a hair dryer, and a big ice cube). Then, students observed and interpreted the results. It was pretty exciting! Watch the short video.
