Music at Chandler

Chandler’s talented music faculty teaches a wide-ranging curriculum that opens students in Lower School and Middle School to the joys of music and the universality of music in human life.

Lower School Music

Chandler School’s Lower School Music Program is a lively and enriching experience that cultivates a love for music, confidence, teamwork, and the joy of performing on stage. The program emphasizes developing musical skills through singing, instrument playing, movement, and music theory, all within a supportive environment. A highlight of the program is the opportunity for K-5 students to participate in two annual concerts: the Holiday Concert and the Spring Sing. These performances showcase the talents and progress of all K-5 students. During these concerts, students present a diverse repertoire that reflects what they’ve learned throughout the year. Whether it’s festive holiday songs or vibrant springtime melodies, each concert celebrates music and community.

Middle School Music

Chandler School's Middle School Music and Performing Arts program offers students a dynamic and comprehensive education in the arts. Our curriculum includes various classes, such as music performance, music production, and theater tech, allowing students to explore both onstage and behind-the-scenes roles. Our program is designed to nurture creativity, collaboration, and technical skills, allowing every student to discover and develop their artistic potential. Whether performing on stage, composing original music, or running the tech for a show, students gain a well-rounded experience in the performing arts.
