STOCKS OR SECURITIES
A gift of appreciated stock generally offers a two-fold tax savings; avoiding capital gains tax on the increase in value of the stock and providing an income tax deduction for the full market value of the stock at the time of the gift. For stock or wire transfers please contact the Advancement Office at (626) 795-9990 in advance to receive current transfer instructions and to have your gift credited appropriately.

PLANNED GIVING
Funds from planned gifts, such as bequests and charitable trusts, are added to Chandler school’s endowment and guarantee the school’s ability to serve the community for generations to come. Generous donors who include Chandler in their estate plans become members of The Mariposa Society. There are a number of ways to include Chandler School in your estate plans.
- Make a bequest to the school in your will or revocable trust.
- Designate Chandler as a beneficiary of your IRA, 401(k), or other qualified retirement plan.
- Name Chandler as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy.
- Establish a life income plan.
