David Gerst ’86

David Gerst ’86 is a Chandler lifer and parent of two Chandler graduates, Daniel ’17 and Michael ’21. He is a member of the famed Boojum ‘lost patrol’ in ’85.  After Chandler, David graduated from Pasadena High School, UCSD (Economics), and USC (MBA). He loves spending time with family and friends, is a passionate baseball fan and coach, and enjoys participating in a collective of dog enthusiasts unofficially known as Dog Underground. David is the author of several award-worthy screenplays that are yet unpublished. David has worked on a kibbutz in Israel, traveled to India by train, couch-surfed Italy, and climbed Mt. Fuji in Japan. He currently works in marketing in the financial services industry. He is married to Bhupali and is celebrating their 23rd anniversary together.
