Chandler hosted a very successful Middle School debate tournament on November 3. Chandler won 19 tournament awards, including 1st for the overall tournament (% of wins) award and 1st out of 44 seventh-grade teams, winning all four rounds.
On Wednesday, June 6, Chandler's eighth-grade class of 2018 celebrated its graduation ceremony. The 68 students enjoyed a moment in the spotlight as their families, friends and faculty wished them congratulations.
Last week, Chandler's eighth grade class produced Stand Up For Something, an evening event for parents and friends to celebrate justice and the civil rights activists who have fought for equality among marginalized groups in America.
Among their many talents, Chandler alumni can teach, engage and inspire. On February 7, campus buzzed with conversations and big ideas as two dozen alumni guests shared their life experiences with inquisitive students.
Chandler’s K-8 art teachers, Julie Zemel and Travis Chatham, are thrilled to again lead our own school chapter of the National Junior Art Honor Society. This year, 23 students were inducted as members, in an evening ceremony and reception last week.
